DIAMOND has had a busy few months!

The DIAMOND project is in its sixth month since commencement in December 2022. We now have a great website where you can find all the information you need on the project.

external pageCSTS is leading the co-design component of the project, using a transdisciplinary approach to ensure an inclusive IAM developments – and we’ve been very busy too! We’re in the process of conducting external pageJoint Problem Framing as the first phase of the co-design process. Our aim is to reach mutual understanding of the project mission underpinned by the goals, needs and limitations of the IAM developments. We’ve also had some fun, including ETH students enrolled in the Integration course at the Td-Lab in a Joint Problem Framing exercise, using DIAMOND as a case study. The students realized that Joint Problem Framing can be challenging in such a complex project, but that using creative approaches can help people to step out of their comfort zone towards a mutual understanding.

In May, DIAMOND also had its first General Meeting, hosted by the external pageBasque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), one of our project partners in Bilbao. The meeting lasted three days and included an array of presentations by the different project partners on how the different teams plan on collaborating to update, upgrade and expand the six emblematic IAMs of the project.
